Your privacy is foundational to LUMIS. We collect only what is necessary to deliver your report, we never sell your data, and your photographs are automatically deleted within 30 days.
When you use LUMIS, we collect the photographs you upload (front-facing, left profile, and right profile); your onboarding questionnaire responses including age range, skin type, lifestyle habits, and goals; your name and email address; and basic usage and activity data such as pages visited and report generation timestamps.
Your photographs and profile data are used exclusively to generate your personalised Facial Intelligence Report. Your email address is used to notify you when your report is ready and to respond to support requests. We may use anonymised, non-identifiable usage patterns to improve the service. We do not sell, license, or share your personal data or images with third parties, advertising networks, or data brokers under any circumstances.
Your photographs are reviewed by qualified specialists to analyse facial features, skin condition, and structural characteristics. This review occurs on secure infrastructure and is performed solely for the purpose of preparing your personalised report. Your images are never shared with third parties or used for any purpose beyond your evaluation.
Uploaded photographs are stored securely and are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days of upload. Your generated report is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request immediate deletion of your photographs at any time by contacting us at support@trylumis.cc.
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+ and at rest using AES-256 encryption. Our infrastructure is hosted on Supabase, which meets SOC 2 Type II compliance standards. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe — LUMIS never touches or stores your payment card details.
We use Stripe for payment processing, Supabase for database and storage infrastructure, and third-party AI model APIs for image-to-image processing and report generation. We share only the minimum data necessary for each service to function. All third-party providers are contractually bound to process data only as instructed.
LUMIS uses essential session cookies required for authentication and service functionality. We may use lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how users interact with the platform. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@trylumis.cc with your request. We will respond within 30 days. If you are located in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
LUMIS is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, please contact us immediately at support@trylumis.cc.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
